Chief Odenigbo Agala

Chief Odenigbo Agala is a man who was born in the Eastern part of Nigeria called the land of sun shine or Biafra. He has been one of the advocates of human rights, economic and political development in rural and urban communities including free health care for all people in his village. He is also an advocate of free education and health care for children who are less fortunate and privileged in his community. He has followed and supported his parent’s belief that a child needs love, shelter, food, health and education. Chief Odenigbo Agala believes in the redistribution of national wealth, free enterprise and democracy.

He is an advocate of protection and preservation of Igbo language, name, culture, traditions, and proverbs. Chief Odenigbo Agala believes that people without their own language and culture have lost their foundation of humanity.

He was a United Bank for Africa representative for Central Bank of Nigeria on foreign exchange transactions during 1980s before relocating to the United States of America. Chief Odenigbo Agala is an accountant, auditor, financial and budget analyst. He has a BSc degree in accounting and Master’s degree in Public Administration. He was a founding member of world Igbo Council that was formed in the 1990s to highlight the suffrage, exclusion, deprivation and discrimination against Igbos in economic and political environment in Nigeria during military government.

Chief Odenigbo Agala is a staunch member of Igbo Council of Traditional Title Holders USA.
